Connecting Booking.com to Zeevou

  1. !!! Before connecting to Booking.com, make sure that you have fully set up your property, unit type and unit on Zeevou, or you will end up getting bookings flowing into system-generated units that will be a lot of manual work to then put right. !!!
  2. Under Connect Your Channel Manager on the left click on the blue Connect your channel manager button.
  3. Under Channel Manager’s Name click on Search for Providers and type Zeevou.
  4. Click on Next.
  5. Scroll to the bottom and click on the tick-box next to I have read, accepted and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  6. Click on Accept.
  7. You will now have reached Step 3. At this point, you need to wait for Booking.com to contact Zeevou and for us to confirm the integration.
  8.  Once confirmed, you will get an email to let you know that you can proceed with the mapping.
  9.  While you are waiting for the confirmation, copy your 6-digit Property ID from Booking.com (you can find it in the centre of the page on the top of your Extranet).
  10.  In Zeevou, go to Listings -> Properties and open the desired property in View Mode.
  11.  Look for the Channel Manager Config tab.
  12. Click on Open and a new popup window opens.
  13.  Click on Select Channel on the right, then select booking.com. Finally, click on the + button.
  14.  Under Channel Hotel ID paste the Booking.com Property ID that you copied earlier.
  15.  Under Rate select Sell Rate.
  16.  Under Status select Inactive.
  17.  Click on Save.
  18.   Click on the Map action on the right.
  19.   From the Select Rateplan dropdown choose the applicable rate. If you have more than one rate plan in Booking.com, you should ask their support to connect them to the rate plan you want to map to Zeevou. Otherwise, they won’t be updated.
  20.  A pop-up screen will appear. Under Channel Room Name select your Room Name as set on Booking.com. This is not always easy to find, as Booking.com uses several names for the same room type. To double check, open your Calendar under Rates & Availability on Booking.com and hover on the Room Type to check the Room ID, which you can then cross-reference with the one that appears in the mapping page on Zeevou.
  21.  Next, select the number of guests included in the base price under Applicable No of Guest.
  22.  In the field right to the right of it, you can increase the rate that is being sent out. For example, to add 15% to the price, change the 1 to 1.15.
  23.  Click on Save.
  24.  You should get a confirmation message saying Room Successfully Mapped.
  25.  On Booking.com, set your Extra Guest Pricing. You can do that by going to the Calendar under Rates & Availability, expanding the main rate, and clicking on Edit Occupancy Pricing. Make sure that the base number of people is correct. If you need this changed, you need to call up Booking.com and ask them to do it for you.
  26.  After mapping all your room types, click on Channel Mapping on the top right.
  27.  Click on the Key symbol in the row of Booking.com. On the pop-up screen that appears, click on the > next to Remove and then change the Status from Inactive to Active.
  28. Future bookings (those starting as of the following day from when the mapping is completed) will start to import. Check back in a few hours to make sure all your future bookings have been successfully imported.
  29. For bookings that already had payments collected by Booking.com prior to linking to Zeevou, Booking.com does not always send that information across. Please select any bookings that fall under this category and select Mark as Channel Collect in the bulk options on the three dots on the top right hand corner.
