When you create a Rate Rule, Channels and Direct Bookings toggles are enabled by default.
If you save a rate rule without any rate plan, the Channels and Direct Bookings toggles will be disabled automatically, and the status of the Active column is set to No. Also, a notification will be displayed to you.
You can edit the status of Channels and Direct Bookings toggles by adding a rate plan to the rate rule. After adding a rate plan to the rate rule, the status of the Active column remains as No, and you should activate the rate rule.
Rate rules can be saved without enabling Channels and Direct Bookings, and Rate Plans and Apply to fields will be empty.
