Best Channel Manager Award
Best Channel Manager was the most contested category at the Shortyz 2020 – and Zeevou are extremely proud to announce that they were selected as the winner! The Team would like to extend its sincere thanks to those who have helped them come this far – the Partner Hosts who have been supporting them throughout the Beta as they get ready to launch next week, and all those who voted for Zeevou following the shortlisting for the award.
The Shortyz 2020
Zeevou PMS and Channel Manager was shortlisted for the Best Channel Manager category at the Shortyz 2020. The category description was as follows.
Open to businesses and individuals, agents or online solution able to demonstrate success in managing online distribution channels and maximising direct sales within the short-term rentals sector. Judges will be looking or evidence of:
a. Successful engagement with different channels
b. Segmentation of bookings by channel
c. Selling inventory across multiple channels.
d. Impact on profitability
e. Proactive management of channels leading to reduced distribution costs

How Zeevou Won the Best Channel Manager Award
The procedure for selecting a winner consisted of two stages. In the first stage, Zeevou was nominated for the award, and was selected for the shortlist by a panel of independent judges, alongside the following companies:
- Avantio
- BookingPal
- BookingSync & Smily
- MyVR
- Rentals United
- Zeevou
The second stage of the award consisted of a vote by the public, with the contestant that received the most votes being selected as a winner. Zeevou is trying to bring about The Direct Booking Revolution! for the benefit of the entire hospitality community. It is telling that the support that they received was so fantastic and helped them win the competition by a very healthy margin!
Announcing the winning entry, the judges commented:
This property management system is not just about channel distribution, but about handing back control to the property manager.
Property managers can connect all their unit types and units to 200+ channels, ranging from OTAs to property listing sites and corporate agents, demonstrating successful engagement with different channels and segmentation of bookings by channel.
The winners in this category allow all the various stakeholders to engage with each other directly and efficiently, at a cost much lower than hiring employees.
