Is the booking process fully automated?
Because it is vital that you vet your guests before releasing access information, Zeevou needs your manual approval when it is required. Automation of tasks does not result in the release of sensitive information. Once payment and security deposits have been collected, and the terms and conditions have been signed, it’s your turn to approve the guest before access instructions are sent out.
If guests change their names, how can I find them?
During Zeevou Book’s 5-step Booking Confirmation Process, guests can update the details submitted on OTAs at the time of booking. If for any reason, a guest’s name was changed, you could previously not search by the original name, leading to confusion. But you can now rejoice! We have solved this problem too. If a guest’s name is changed, both the current name and the original one are now shown in the lists of bookings and guests. So, if you are trying to search for the original name, their booking will still show up.
How does Zeevou’s security deposit work?
Stories of trashed apartments abound even with Airbnb, as hosts have no say over vetting their guests. Zeevou enables you to fully automate your security deposit handling. You can set a timeline according to which you want security deposits to be pre-authorised and released. The system will automatically attempt to block the funds off the card according to the specified timeline. Should you need to charge against the security deposit for breakage of house rules or physical damages, you will be able to do so without even having to leave Zeevou.
Where can I check my nightly rate mark up percentages that are pushed to OTAs such as Airbnb, Booking.com,.. ?
To do so, go to Listings and click on Manage Channels. On the opened page, click on Map in front of your desired OTA: Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, etc.   For Airbnb, you should click on the three dots in an orange circle and then on the Rate Settings icon. Then a window opens in which you can view and edit the rate percentage. For other OTAs such as Bookoing.com, you should click on Map, and then click on Edit. Depending on Occupancy Based or Room Based, you can view or edit the percentages in the opened window.
What is the difference between Transaction Cost and Payment Charge?
Payment Charge denotes the charges from Booking.com and it is not related to any other channels. Transaction Cost is all costs related to transactions (Gateways). Channel Commission does not include them in Zeevou but Booking.com always shows the Payment Charge with the Commission amount.
Why do some bookings from BDC show as having channel tax in Zeevou?
The channel tax in Zeevou (VAT in BDC) is the tax that the channel includes in the price the guest is paying. This tax is shown in Price Breakdown and BDC calculates it automatically. For example, if the rate is 120 on BDC, you’ll see 100 as accommodation and 20 as channel tax on Zeevou because the rate reflected on BDC which includes VAT is separated as the accommodation itself & the added 20% VAT on Zeevou. If you as a host communicate to BDC about the tax and send some papers and proof, BDC will not calculate taxes for you.
How can I connect multiple rate plans on Booking.com?
When the first rate plan is added on Booking.com and it is mapped in Zeevou, the other one(s) can be connected in two ways:

When the rate plan is added on Booking.com, it can be mapped in Zeevou correspondingly:rate plans 2. Deriving on BDC The additional rate plans can be derived from the first one as shown below. So, no mapping is required as they get the information they need from the parent rate plan.add new rate plan Note: If you want to set up a derived rate plan, you need to contact the BDC support team to enable this feature for you to work smoothly: “Enable to follow ALL the RESTRICTIONS from the parent rate plan.”          
VAT and TAX Management in Booking.com
Generally, all kinds of taxes from BDC are shown in the price breakdown as Channel Tax. Please note that all of these Channel Taxes will be reflected in related MPRs – Monthly Proft Reports – for Investor/Host according to the deal template details. You can go to Booking.com- > Property -> VAT/Tax Charges to view your VAT status and City Tax.VAT/Tax Charges in Booking.com In order to update your VAT Number, you can go to Booking.com -> Finance -> Finance Settings.Finance Settings in Booking.com You need to contact the support team for any changes related to VAT rate via Inbox -> Booking.com Messages and write a message to ask for changes.contact teh support team for any changes related to VAT rate in booking.com   Note: Please check local laws for any mandatory fees for your property.  
Why is the iCal connection not trustworthy?
iCal only updates the overall occupancy, and it is updated every 3-4 hours. Using iCal, you cannot push availability and pricing from Zeevou in real-time.
You have integration with 200 OTAs. Does it mean that my listings will be shown in all of them?
Yes, your property will be shown in as many channels you choose to map and set on you Zeevou Hub.
Do the weekly and monthly rates push to the channels that we are linked to? What is their use then?
No, unfortunately, channels only accept nightly rates. However, if you can make good use of your direct booking website and drive more and more guests to your booking engine, they can enjoy the special weekly and monthly rates you have set for them. This means that multiple rate plans can run simultaneously for one unit type. So, when your guest wants to stay for less than a week, less than a month, or a few months a different type could be adopted for each of them. This way, you’ll be able to offer better rates for longer stays, reduce empty dates and fill your property as much as possible.
Can I have the bookings that come from OTAs pay directly to us not to Airbnb or Booking.com?
No, that’s not possible.
Am I charged extra by Zeevou for each booking that comes in?
No, not a single penny!
Airbnb tax is 6% state hotel occupancy. But, can I set different tax collection rates for different platforms?
In Zeevou, you can’t yet manage taxes. You can increase or decrease rates as a % for each channel.
How can I transfer bookings when changing PMS to Zeevou?
Zeevou has designed a bulk booking import of your existing bookings from Airbnb and Booking.com in order to pave your way while changing your PMS. This allows you to automatically get an import of existing future bookings from Airbnb & Booking.com and upload the rest of your bookings via a spreadsheet.
Does Zeevou really have a 2-way API integration with all the listed channels?
Yes, we do have a 2-way API connection with more than 200 channels as long as they support it. For instance, HomeAway does not support 2-way API connection for less than 5 properties.
Which other booking channels are integrated with the Zeevou platform?
Among the two hundred (200+) external channels, there are OTAs such as Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda and Ctrip, property listing sites like Airbnb, as well as corporate agents like SilverDoor.
Does Zeevou provide me with a booking website?
Yes! As a direct booking website is significant to fuel your direct booking campaigns, especially in low seasons, by joining us, an SEO-friendly website will be automatically generated for your organisation. This website can be updated in real-time to show the content and rates you upload on the PMS. Moreover, it enables your visitors to explore the property details and all the rates.
Does Zeevou offer any direct booking website analytic tools to measure its performance?
Yes. You can do this through our integration with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. While with Google Analytics, you can measure the traffic on your website, Google Tag Manager or GTM allows you to manage and centralise your marketing tags and deploy them on your website. While tracking your direct booking website’s performance, you can analyse which pages and actions are converting or not. This enables you to optimise your website based on user experience.
If I want to change my website to Zeevou’s, how should I keep my SEO ranking?
Zeevou allows you to create redirects for URLs that do not exist in the system. This can help a lot for SEO purposes as when you want to change your domain name, you want to minimise the damage to your search rankings. So, when you move from another website to Zeevou, this feature enables you to preserve your SEO ranking while enjoying access to Zeevou’s perfect booking engine and the rest of the features included in our free direct booking websites.
If I already have a WordPress online booking website, can I still use Zeevou’s booking engine?
Yes! If you have spent a lot of money on a remarkable WordPress website, through Zeevou’s integration with WordPress, you can now continue taking reservations through your website. Just install the Zeevou Plugin and use our simple shortcode to display the search widget wherever you like.
What is Zeevou Direct and how does it offer exclusive rates?
Zeevou Direct is a completely commission-free booking platform. Whether you’re using the Blaze, Glow, or Spark Plan, you can get your listings published on Zeevou Direct with just ticking a box. As Zeevou Direct is free, our Partner Hosts are not charged any commissions or listing fees so that guests can get a better deal and smoother experience without being hampered by a middle-man. Booking through Zeevou Direct is the same as booking directly with a hospitality provider.
Why should I sign up for the Spark Plan?
When you sign up for Zeevou’s Spark Plan, you get the chance to benefit from an SEO-friendly direct booking website and other basic features. Moreover, we’ve got a commission-free OTA, Zeevou Direct, where all your properties will be listed without you having to pay a penny. Also, your properties will be advertised on Zeevou Direct’s social media platforms.
Am I charged extra by Zeevou for each booking that comes in?
No, not a single penny!
If I already have a website, can I still use Zeevou’s booking engine?
Yes, you can use an iFrame that is generated on Zeevou to be used on a third-party website to redirect guests to your Zeevou booking engine seamlessly. When website visitors tap the search button, they get redirected to the booking engine’s search results page. So, you can have a search widget on your homepage that directly connects to your booking engine. This helps minimise the number of clicks potential guests have to make and can help drive more direct bookings. Note: The single properties do not have the field Where are you going?  for booking on their website.  
Is Zeevou responsible for marketing my vacation rentals on the website that it generates?
Zeevou creates an SEO-friendly website for your vacation rentals and uses different tools, including metadata fields for SEO, and Open Graph Tags for sharing your website pages sharing on Facebook and Twitter. However, Zeevou is not in charge of the marketing aspect of your businesses. You yourself should create content and plan different marketing strategies on your website. But Zeevou streamlines publishing your content to help with implementing your strategies.
How does Zeevou’s Automated Messaging help?
If you have to email out the same information every time a guest books, a lot of your time will be wasted. Moreover, most of the time you have to follow up a guest by an SMS to make sure they’ve seen the information. And that’s not all. You need to send the guest a number of information such as access codes, which are sensitive information and should not be released before all the necessary boxes are ticked. That is why if you sign up with Zeevou, you’ll be provided with a set of default templates for various points of the booking process and after it. You can customise these templates based on your brand’s logo and contact information, and have a beautiful HTML design. Also, these templates are editable. Besides, since Zeevou has integration with CliskSend, hosts can automate SMS to their guests and staff.
Why should I sign up for the premium plan when I can use the free one?
While using the Spark Plan comes with a lot of benefits, it has its own limitations. However, if you sign up for the Blaze Plan, you can use all the features that Zeevou offers and have access to our channel manager and booking engine. For the people who want to fully automate their business, using the Blaze Plan is inevitable as Zeevou is being developed and growing consistently, and our premium features cover almost all aspects of your vacation rental or SA business management. But if you think you don’t need automation and just a direct booking website, and listing your properties on Zeevou Direct is enough, you can simply enjoy our Spark Plan. Being on the Spark Plan also lets you get to know the system and the many potentials that can be unlocked once you upgrade. Remember that, even in the free plan, you will have access to many features and integrations.

How do the emails go out?
We provide you with a long list of email templates ready to be used. What needs to be done is to activate the ones that suit your business needs and set their trigger rules. You just need to trust the system afterwards.
Am I charged extra by Zeevou for each booking that comes in?
No, not a single penny!
And what about the Annual Plan?
You would be locked in for a year from the date you sign up. You can leave at the end of the year without giving any notice so long as the following term has not started.
Are there any charges and notice period for leaving the system?
Not on the monthly plan. While using our Monthly Package, you can cancel anytime you want with a simple 30 days’ notice.
Does Zeevou have a solution for managing multiple properties?
Yes, Zeevou’s multi-location management system enables you to manage all your properties from one single login – even though they be located across several countries. Also, we have developed two multi-unit calendars – one for bookings, and one to display rates and availability. Besides generating a Bookings Calendar for all your properties, Zeevou generates a calendar for each city where you run your units.

How can I use Zeevou Plugin within WordPress ?
You can use  a WordPress Plugin to enable your guests to reserve a booking  on your own WordPress website.To do so, follow the instructions below: Step 1: Go to Plugin settings and click on Add New.Add new Plugin Note: You can search for Zeevou on the bottom right corner of the page.   Step 2: Click on the Install and then Activate button. Zeevou Plugin within WordPress   Step 3: When the Zeevou Plugin is installed, it appears on the left column. When you click on it, a page opens in which you should insert your Zeevou website URL and Zeevou Hub’s Username and Password and click Connect. Install Zeevou plugin in wordpress insert Zeevou website URL   Step 4: When Zeevou is Connected, go to Instructions to select the desired Widget Shortcodes to be shown on your website (property) page and click on Save Changes.Zeevou Plugin within WordPress Configuration Note:  When Search Widget Shortcode is set, the guest will be redirected to Zeevou website for booking. However, when Property Search Widget Shortcode is set, the guest can reserve a booking on your own site as well. Step 5: Then, click on Pages to see the list of your property pages and choose one of them to be updated. Zeevou Plugin within WordPress create pages   Step 6: When the property page opens, you can select from the Brands and Properties lists on the right drop-down and then specify the desired Widget Shortcodes.   Zeevou Plugin within WordPress   Step 7: Click on Update on the top right corner to see the changes on your Plugin page, as shown  below. How can I add integrations to my Zeevou account?
On Settings icon-> Integrations-> Payments, you can set integrations with payment gateways (Opayo/ Stripe/ Worldpay), KeyNest and Xero. For payment integrations, you can specify the Integration Level that is applying the payment gateway for the whole Organisation or a specific Owner Contract.  
If I already have a WordPress online booking website, can I still use Zeevou’s booking engine?
Yes! If you have spent a lot of money on a remarkable WordPress website, through Zeevou’s integration with WordPress, you can now continue taking reservations through your website. Just install the Zeevou Plugin and use our simple shortcode to display the search widget wherever you like.

How can my guests sign the terms and conditions before they have access check-in information?
To secure the online booking process, Zeevou has integration with Signable, which is a UK-based electronic signature software provider that sends secure online documents directly to your guests’ inbox. Then, they can easily sign the necessary documents and continue the rest of the Automated Booking Process.
Does Zeevou offer any solutions for automating accounting and bookkeeping?
Yes. Zeevou has integration with Xero, a world-leading accounting software. This enables you to have a real-time overview of your cashflow anytime and anywhere. Here’s a complete guide to how to connect with Xero.
If I can’t or don’t want to meet a guest in person, how can I give them the access to my short-term rental?
Through Zeevou’s integration with KeyNest, you can give access to your guests without having to be physically present. The process is very streamlined as you only have to give access to your staff or guests. Then, they should go to a 24/7 local store with the access code or key. As soon as this happens, KeyNest notifies you so that you’ll be informed if the key is collected or dropped off.
How can I use Zeevou App Menu?
When you’re logged into your Zeevou App, you can click on the three dots to open the Menu bar which includes five sections: Zeevou App Menu 1- Notifications  When you click on Notifications, you can view any updates on your tasks: Notification button check tasks updates 2- Change Language 3- Raise a Hand If you have any problems, you can click on Raise a Hand and insert the Subject, choose the Hand Type and its Urgency Level. It’s optional to describe details or add any attachments. Finally, Send it. If you have any problems, you can click on Raise a Hand on Zeevou App   4- Leave Request You can request a leave hourly or daily if you click on Leave Request. You also need to specify the date and the reason. Finally, Submit. Compose a Leave Request Note: The acceptance or rejection of Leave Request by the host will be shown in the Notifications. 5- Log out When you want to exit the Zeevou App, click on Log out. How to Assign Tags to Your Guests, Companies and Bookings?
As a host, you can add tags to your Guests/Companies to identify them and the type of service which should be provided for them. To do so, go to any existing guest/company Profile tab -> the Additional Info card and click on the pencil to set/edit it. When you type a tag, the system provides you all already created tags to choose from. If you cannot find your desired tag among the existing ones you can create a New Tag. The added tags to a guest/company are visible in the booking page -> the Guest tab. In addition, you can add tags to your bookings. To do so, go to the Booking page and click on Add Tag. Then, a drawer opens in which you can enter your tag and click on Save. Again, when you type a tag, the system provides you all already created tags to choose from. If you cannot find your desired tag among the existing ones, you can create a New Tag.
How does Zeevou’s mobile app help staff access information?
Zeevou’s mobile app is in progress and is going to be more complete soon. The first section we have released is a mobile app for housekeepers. This app enables streamlining communication between you, as the manager, and your housekeepers. The next phase that is going to be completed and released soon is related to maintenance staff. After that, we’re going to work on a Host Mobile App. Ultimately, an Investor Mobile App in addition to the real-time owner reporting portal will be developed and released.

How can I specifically monitor the quality of housekeeping?
To do so, go to Brand Settings -> the Task tab -> the Housekeeping card and turn off the toggle of Auto-approval. This way, you can manually Approve or Reopen the task completed once submitted by your housekeepers. You can also turn on the toggle of Mandatory Housekeeping Photos to request housekeepers to take at least one photo of every room before being able to submit a cleaning task. Then, go to the Task dashboard and click on your desired Pending task. On the opened page, you can click on Approve or Reopen the task after viewing the images. Note that after approval, the status gets Completed and you will not be able to make any changes.
How can I manage my employees remotely?
By allocating tasks to your staff, you can keep track of their availability and leave, and easily maintain an overview of your operations on Zeevou. With Zeevou, you can enjoy a remote property management system as it enables you to manage all your housekeeping and maintenance tasks and generate daily housekeeping reports. Housekeepers can report maintenance issues while cleaning. These get sent back to the office, so you can control it all in one place!
Does Zeevou offer automated messaging? How does it work?
Any host who signs up with Zeevou is provided with a set of default templates for various points of the guest journey. These templates all pull the brand‘s logo and contact information, and have an HTML design. What’s more, you can edit or clone these templates, or create completely new ones from scratch. Moreover, you can set your own custom trigger rules. For each trigger rule, you can specify as many conditions as you like that need to be met before the templates fire. You can also include an attachment with a trigger rule, such as a house template, a check-in guide or the guest’s invoice.
What types of data do Zeevou’s financial reports include?
Zeevou offers financial reports – from reports on invoices to payments, and refunds. We also provide built-in analyses of sales, occupancy levels, and bookings. Users can not only record their income but also their expenses. These reports allow our Patrons to have a full overview of the performance of their business at various levels.
How does Zeevou’s real-time reporting work?
Zeevou developed its Property Management System with Real-time Reporting. This allows you to run a variety of reports with detailed analytics. Each report can be filtered based on numerous conditions. Users can decide which columns they wish to display, and in what order. Zeevou’s data can be exported and downloaded at any time as CSV or XLSX.
