Whenever you need to capture or log a previously captured sum of the security deposit, kindly open the related booking and click on the Finance button. You will see a Charge Security Deposit option on the drop-down. Clicking on it, a new window pops up asking whether you want to actually charge your guest or you would like to log a previous charge that has been made outside Zeevou.
If you log a previous charge, you can see the logged amount under the Security Deposits section from within the same booking.
The log details will get updated as Logged.
Additionally, if you decide to capture a sum of the security deposit, it will not be released to the guest, normally due to some damage caused. You will see the log under Security Deposit Charges from within the related booking.
The log details will get updated as Captured this time.
Success in either of the above actions will be confirmed by a “Yay” notification at the bottom of the screen.
